Best Hockey Goal Songs (2026)

47 goal songs that youth, junior and beer-league rinks actually play, with a note on why the big ones work and where to start them. Every one is a clean edit. Tap Add to my board and it lands on the free goal-song board, which plays the horn and then the song on one button.

Rule of thumb: horn first, song in over its tail, fifteen to twenty seconds from the hook. Nobody needs the intro.Open the board →

The ones every rink knows

  1. 1. Chelsea Dagger — The Fratellis

The Blackhawks' goal song. The "da da da" chorus is instant and every kid in the building knows it.

  2. 2. Song 2 — Blur

Two seconds of silence, then "woo-hoo." The fastest payoff on this list, which is why it is everywhere.

  3. 3. Zombie Nation (Kernkraft 400) — Zombie Nation

The stadium chant, and the one rink DJs reach for when the crowd is quiet. Start it at the chant, not the intro.

  4. 4. Seven Nation Army — The White Stripes

The riff the whole bench can sing. Works at 8U and in beer league.

  5. 5. Crowd Chant — Joe Satriani

Written to be shouted back. Satriani's "hey" chant is the arena call-and-response in one track.

  6. 6. Thunderstruck — AC/DC

Skip to the riff. The intro is thirty seconds of build the celebration does not have time for.

  7. 7. Sandstorm — Darude

The drop at about a minute in is the goal; cue it there.

  8. 8. Jump Around — House of Pain

  10. 10. Welcome to the Jungle — Guns N' Roses

The scream. Clean enough for youth hockey; check your rink's policy on the intro.

  11. 11. Can't Hold Us — Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

Questions

How long should a goal song play?

Fifteen to twenty seconds from the hook. The horn takes the first few seconds and the song comes in over its tail; play resumes before the song is done. The board lets you set a start second and a length per song, or let it play through.

What goal song do the Blackhawks use?

Chelsea Dagger, after the United Center horn. It is the most copied goal song in youth hockey, and the first one on the board.

Are these clean?

Every song here is a radio edit or has no explicit lyrics; where a clean version exists, that is the one linked. Check your rink's policy on anything with a shouted intro.

Songs play through YouTube's embedded player on the board. Playing music in a rink is covered by the rink's public performance licence, as with any arena playlist.
